Karen Muntean

Saturna

Karen moved to Saturna in 1977 and lived there full time for over 30 years, participating in many facets of community life. She now divides her time between Victoria and Saturna. She studied graphic design and worked in that field before starting to paint more and design less. Her work has evolved from representational watercolours to the current abstract work in acrylic, interspersed with stints of printmaking. On Saturna she participates in the ArtSaturna group and contributes to their blog at artsaturna.blogspot.ca and prints.
